Funding from Union.
Who we fund
We give priority to church planting and revitalisation projects from people, churches and networks that are actively engaged with Union.
Please note, we currently only fund projects in the UK and Europe. If you meet the criteria above, and have a church planting or revitalisation project outside this area, please get in touch so we can discuss other ways of supporting you.
If you are eligible, complete this expression of interest.
To apply for a grant, you will need to demonstrate:
1. Partnership You will have an active relationship with Union (e.g. current or graduate student, Learning Community mentor, Union partnered ministry)
2. Person You will have relevant training, experience, calling, and will have the backing of a recognised network or church leadership. You will have a viable team to work with you.
3. Place Your church plant or church revitalisation project will meet a demonstrable need in the proposed area.
4. Phase Your plant can be in the pre-planting phase, early plant phase or be more established and even looking to plant again.
5. Plan You will have specific, measurable goals. You will need to submit a budget and demonstrate other sources of financial support.
Union Mission usually makes grants of between £5,000-10,000.
How it works
If your project is eligible, you will be invited to apply for funding. The Union Mission Co-ordinator will work with you to create a project proposal that will be used to secure funding from a suitable donor.
Please note, it can take 6-12 months to match projects with donors.
Once you receive funding, you will commit to sending regular prayer updates and an annual project report.
